PSSI Training Programs
Much of the success of the PSSI program is a result of our commitment to continuous training of our entire workforce at all levels. Our training starts on the employees' first day of employment with PSSI. Our orientation process includes bilingual (English/Spanish) written and video instruction before the employee sets foot on the production floor.
Hourly employees will also be exposed to the following continuous training:
- Weekly interactive safety meetings
- Bi- Weekly interactive food safety meetings
- Quarterly LOTO periodic inspections
Salaried Managers and Supervisors will be exposed to the training listed above and the following:
- Bi-Weekly - Human Resources Newsletters
- Monthly Food Safety Newsletters for Management
- Monthly Safety Newsletters for Management
Travelling Corporate Management will be exposed to the training listed above as well as specialized training based on their area of expertise including:
- Quarterly Management Training
- OSHA 10 Hour Training
- Other specialized training including:
- OSHA/Safety specializations
- HACCP
- SQF/BRC Audit Training
- Human Resources - Harassment, Discrimination/EEOC, Immigration
